Assignments

The Assignments section in coob.app is where you manage and track tasks submitted by your students. This feature allows you to review, approve, or reject assignments, and give feedback directly. Here's how the process works, step by step:

1. How Assignments Work for Students

• When a student reaches a task step in your course, they can complete the task and submit their response.

• After submission, the task is marked as “Pending Approval” and cannot be modified by the student until you review it.

• The bot notifies the student with a message: “Your task is awaiting teacher approval. Please wait.”

2. Notifications for New Assignments

• When a student submits an assignment, you receive a notification in Telegram.

  • Example: “New Assignment: coob team → Vedby programming course.”

• The notification includes buttons to:

  • View assignment: Opens the task details.

  • Approve or Reject the submission directly from the chat.

3. Reviewing Tasks in the Assignments Section

• Navigate to the Assignments section in the app.

• Here, you’ll find two main categories:

  • Pending Approval: Tasks waiting for your review.

  • All Assignments: A history of all reviewed tasks, including approved and rejected ones.

For Each Task:

• Click on a task to view the student’s submission and all details.

• Review the student’s response in the “Your Answer” section.

• If necessary, you can leave a comment with feedback in the optional Comment field.

4. Approving or Rejecting Tasks

• After reviewing the task, you can:

  • Approve: Accept the student’s work and allow them to proceed to the next step in the course.

  • Reject: Decline the submission and optionally provide feedback on what needs to be improved.

• Students receive a notification about your decision and any comments you’ve left.

5. Tracking Attempts

• For each assignment, you can track multiple attempts submitted by the student (if retries are allowed).

• Previous attempts are listed with timestamps, letting you review submission history.

6. Feedback for Students

• After approving or rejecting a task, students see your feedback directly in the bot.

  • Example: “Super cool 😎 and thanks 🙏.”

• This creates an interactive and supportive learning environment.
