coob.app makes it easy to earn from your courses by allowing you to charge students for specific steps using virtual currency called Stars. Here’s a simple explanation of how monetization works and what the Transactions section does.
How to make a step paid:
Go to the Builder section and select the step you want to make paid.
In the step settings, set the price in Stars (e.g., "1 Star for this step").
Publish the step to make it available for purchase.
How students pay:
When students reach a paid step, they will see a button to Pay [Star Amount].
Before confirming the payment, they will get a message like: "Are you sure you want to buy [step name] for [Star amount]?"
After successful payment, the step is unlocked, and they can continue learning.
The Transactions section helps you track all payments, earnings, and refunds. It has three tabs:
All — Shows all transactions, including payments, refunds, and other actions.
Incoming — Displays payments you’ve received from students.
Refunds — Shows any refunds you’ve issued to students.
What a transaction looks like:
Each transaction includes:
The name of the step or transaction description.
The student’s name and profile picture.
The amount (positive for payments, negative for refunds). For example:
+1 Star — a Star received for a paid step.
-1 Star — a Star refunded to a student.
Example:
"First Invoice by Stars Step" +1 Star from coob team (Jan 12, 2025, 16:38:52) — A student paid for the step, and you received a Star.
Easy for students: Payments happen directly in Telegram, no extra tools needed.
Full control: The Transactions section lets you track earnings and manage refunds.
Flexible pricing: You can charge for specific steps or entire courses.
If a student requests a refund, you can issue it manually.
Refunds will appear in the Refunds tab with a negative amount.
Monetization in coob.app is a simple and effective way to turn your courses into income while keeping things straightforward and user-friendly for both you and your students!
